Needs
Crew Leaders: For those of you with prior construction experience we need your help to guide workdays as well as teach other volunteers.
Small Groups:
We need small groups who wish to volunteer on weekends.We can work around existing schedules to provide service opportunities
to youth and adults.We are also currently working on designing our mini-crew classroom (preschool-first grade) to be inviting
and space-saving.
Food donation: We also need financial and in-kind donations to supply weekly food for meals, craft supplies, Fall Party, Thanksgiving Dinner, and Christmas Store. See lists below. Contact Valerie to arrange drop off.
Food always needed: Large bottles of 100% Juice; Cups, plates, bowls, napkins, plasticware; Large cans of peaches (light no sugar added preferred); Large jars of no sugar added applesauce; Large bags frozen corn, peas, or peas/carrots; Large bags of frozen fries, tator tots, chicken fingers, chicken nuggets, or fish sticks.
Craft/school supplies needed: Glue sticks;Glue gun refills (large);Construction paper;Crayons;Markers;Pencils;Spiral notebooks;Pocket folders
Financial Support: As Rebuilding the Wall has grown, there is an ever increasing need of financial supporters
Prayer: Please pray for us daily. The Lord has shown us that the single most important donation a person can make is their time. Time cannot be better spent than in constant communication with our Lord through prayer. Please pray for us, our families, our volunteers, and the children daily. Thank You!
Interested in Home Ownership?
Rebuilding the Wall is currently recruiting families interested in being first time homeowners in Citizen's King-Park & Martindale Brightwood Communities. Rebuilding the Wall partners with low income families to help them pursue their dream of first time homeownership. To qualify, families must be currently employed or have a steady source of income and must be able to devote six volunteer hours(per adult)per month toward the construction of their family home.
